Building Something New, Together
Dekens Community Store isn’t just about secondhand goods, it’s about first chances. Our mission is to create a self reliant, locally supported space where neighbors help neighbors meet their everyday needs with dignity and respect.
We are in the early stages of launching this nonprofit effort. We’re assembling our founding board, seeking legal guidance, and preparing our application for 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. While we are not yet a registered 501(c)(3), your early support helps demonstrate our vision and fuels the groundwork for opening our doors.

Give a One Time Donation
Your gift helps us cover legal costs, secure a storefront, and prepare to serve our community. It’s not tax deductible at this stage, but it makes a real difference.
Join the Founders' Circle
Donors giving $500 or more, or making an in-kind contribution of equal value, will be recognized (if they wish) as part of our founding class. Founders receive exclusive updates and invitations.
Donate Goods
We’re accepting donations of clean, lightly used items and helpful materials to prepare the space. Think tools, fixtures, shelving, and basic supplies.
Volunteer
Time is just as valuable as treasure. From organizing to outreach, there’s plenty of work to do as we prepare to launch. Sign up below:

Dekens Community Store is a work in progress, but the need is real, and so is the heart behind it. With your help, we can prove what local giving can do
